Hello! I’m Morgan, the creative beind Paradox Patterns.

Originally from a small town in Iowa, I now call Northern California home where I’ve lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past decade. When I’m not immersed in designing modern quilt patterns, or bringing them to life, I’m likely practicing yoga, hiking with friends in the redwoods, sourcing inspiration from local shops and galleries, or cozying up with my cat, named Fish, and a good book or movie.

For me, quilting transcends mere craft — it's a transformative journey of mindfulness and boundless self-expression. I continually find the process itself holds as much significance, if not more, than the final creation. While making a handmade heirloom is incredibly satisfying, it's the journey of creation that truly enriches my soul.

Through my modern quilts and patterns, I aspire to inspire others to embrace their own inner-child-like selves and take play seriously.
